The wine glasses rest upside down in perfect rows, like a crystalline vineyard waiting for nightfall to ripen into celebration. Their slender stems rise with quiet grace, each one catching the soft amber glow of the Nonna Luisa Restaurant and turning it into a constellation of tiny stars. Along the polished surface beneath them, reflections melt into one another so gently that glass and light seem to merge, as if time itself has slowed to a more generous rhythm.
Each bowl of glass seems to cradle an unwritten story, waiting to be filled with deep red wine or a pale, fragrant white. The repeating curves create a visual music, a silent chorus that hints at shared toasts, soft conversation, and the gentle chime of glass meeting glass. Light glides along their edges like a caress, tracing delicate highlights that flicker and fade with the slightest movement.
These photos were taken as part of a project/assignment to photograph the "wine scene" of the Nonna Luisa Restaurant in Anacortes, Washington, USA.
