TRUE SELF: EMERGING THROUGH CRYSTAL SKIN



This project is a VISUAL MANIFESTO inspired by the theme of IDENTITY and the journey of discovering WHO WE TRULY ARE — a process of finding the TRUE SELF hidden beneath layers of external pressures and expectations, social masks, and imposed systems that can distort our image. CRYSTALS become a MIRROR and serve as a metaphor for the SOUL — layered, fragile yet strong, shaped by pressure, and always carrying an INNER LIGHT that seeks to EMERGE. Through color, fracture, and reflection, the work TRANSFORMS conformity into the freedom of self-expression, illustrating how the “crystal skin” we form under external expectations can both protect and reveal our INNER TRUTH. In its cracks and translucence, it shows that vulnerability and multiplicity are not weaknesses, but pathways to AUTHENTICITY and inner freedom. It does not reflect our surface, but our INNER BEING.
