Tidal Abstractions explores the natural patterns formed where water, sand, and light converge. Photographed from above, the series reveals coastal environments transformed into flowing compositions of colour and movement. Tides carve soft channels, blend mineral tones, and create forms that shift between land and sea.

By removing the horizon and sense of scale, the images move away from traditional landscape representation, inviting a slower, more contemplative reading. What remains are gestures of motion and balance—ephemeral structures shaped by rhythm rather than permanence. The work reflects an interest in nature as both subject and abstraction, where geography becomes fluid and time is written in colour and flow.
