While out for bird/eagle watching and photography in western Skagit County, we came across this pair of eagles atop a pole and crossbar. The subject eagle was eating a seagull it had captured. You could tell the eagle was protecting his food as they stared at my camera lens rather fiercely.

I took around 50 photos of this eagle and its mate.
