Photography is for me a means of artistic expression that allows me not only to depict my perceived reality, but rather to shape it, even to re-formulate it. In this series, I play with the design elements of repetition and reduction. The reduction to lines and surfaces creates a simple and quiet beauty, the repetition creates dynamism and complexity. The minimalist approach leaves room for imagination, the poetry of light and shadow emerges from the interplay of light, forms and materials.



My aim is to create a visual language made of lines, surfaces and patterns that captivates the viewer and creates a sense of direction, depth and rhythm. The narrative of the fragment is hinted at in this work, but I am looking rather for a visual statement than a specific narrative in this series.
