The Taiwan Kingfisher is in the breeding period. The mother bird struggles to dive into the water to catch fish to feed her chicks. Through the pond outside the house, I was lucky enough to capture the kingfisher's posture at the moment it dives into the water to catch fish and then comes out of the water. I felt the magical power of nature's biological reproduction and care for offspring.
