Flu Season is an ongoing project inspired by the COVID-19 virus of 2020. Initially, my images were encouraged by an epic shortage of toilet paper and my interest in conveying a sense of humor about the reality of a seemingly ludicrous situation. As time in quarantine lingered, my photographs began to consider the effects of long-term isolation.
