Nagaoka Fireworks Phoenix

The “Nagaoka Fireworks Festival,” a local event in my home prefecture of Niigata.



It is also one of Japan's three major fireworks festivals.



This is a shot of the festival's climax, the “Phoenix Grand Fireworks.”

No editing,



If there's no wind, the smoke gets in the way, and if the wind is too strong, the fireworks get blown out of frame, so neither is ideal.

At that moment, the conditions were perfect, and I had the best vantage point.



My goal for the future is to capture a shot that surpasses this one.
