This project explores a state of preparation that never reaches completion — moments where time, space, and intention are fully arranged, yet no final action takes place.
In everyday life, preparation often exists without being used. Time is reserved for an event that is later canceled. A message is carefully written but never sent. A room is arranged in anticipation of a visit that never happens. Versions of the self are constructed in private, only to be withdrawn before entering the public space.
Through staged interior scenes, the work focuses on subtle gestures of hesitation, suspension, and withdrawal. Rather than emphasizing outcomes, the images linger in a state of “almost” — where readiness itself becomes the subject.
These unused preparations may result from personal choice, absence of a receiver, or a misalignment between the imagined audience and reality. In this sense, the project reflects on a quiet form of self-recognition — an internal validation that does not require completion or external acknowledgment.
