The Komodo Dragon is the biggest lizard on the planet reaching up to 3 metres in length.
It lives in a small group of Indonesian islands. Rare in other reptiles the Dragons will hunt and ambush together.
In December 2019 while the Indonesian government was considering the permanent closure of the park we were able to spend 10 days on the island of Flores.
After several failed attempts to capture the shy dragons, we were able to document the beginning of a water buffalo ambush by a group of large dragons on the island of Rinca.
There are around 3,000 dragons left in the wild.
