Four large arms factories (Zeppelin, Maybach, ZF and Dornier) made Friedrichshafen an important arms location in the Third Reich, which is why there were eleven air raids on the city between June 1943 and February 1945. Friedrichshafen was not completely destroyed, but the old town and the urban structure no longer existed. The city was rebuilt very quickly, but with a completely new, modern cityscape that lacks any historical charm. But at the blue hour in the morning and seen from the Moleturm, even Friedrichshafen has its charm
