diamond fever

Finally a sunrise at Iceland's famous "Diamond Beach". So far I have only ever experienced this place in the winter half-year (when the sun rises and sets over the sea) with gray, impenetrable clouds. Or there weren't any icebergs. This time everything went well, even if the surf wasn't quite as strong as I had hoped. At first I was annoyed that the mooncalf slipped into the picture on the right, when I finally caught the wave in the foreground well. Later, when looking through the pictures, I realized that the picture would not have worked without the person...
