Using a mixture of pastes on both their bodies and hair, the himba women have to dry clean their whole adult life their thick, paste covered dreadlocks. This process is very unique and very intimate. I was very glad to see how one of these women dry cleaned her hair using the essence of local dry herbs and smoke.
