I believe that we, as a people but also humanity as a whole, are in a constant state of transformation. Recently though, this process seems to be accelerating. We are getting fitter, stronger and yet we only seem to become more fragile. In this work, that same fragility is illustrated by the model’s nakedness, but also by the delicate Delft blue etched onto her porcelain skin.
