Shepherd in the Glade

The aim of this shot was to capture Mav the German Shepherd having fun his favourite way: splashing through the water!

I was waiting for him to shake the water off of himself to get some water droplets in the air, instead he launched out of the river bringing the water with him and staring straight down the lens in the process!

I decided on a black and white edit because it almost makes the droplets look like stars in the sky against the dark background, I like to think it represents him having an 'out of this world' amount of fun
