PAMPA Y CIELO

In the series Pampa y Cielo, I investigate the issue of floods and droughts in extensive areas of the Argentine Pampa Humeda. Through aerial

photography I discover organic forms and highlight how human intervention and the force of nature impact on the surface of our Earth.

I am captivated by the abstraction that results from a change of perspective in the image. Through a patient and contemplative attitude, I enter into conversation with the landscape and discover presences that visually refer us to something else. While the passage of water carves the surface of the Earth, my images reveal enigmatic ephemeral forms.

I use abstraction and poetry as a visual language to communicate the vulnerability of nature and open up uncomfortable questions.
