The series of shadow horses came about quite spontaneously. Four Andalusian stallions were on their paddock at noon. When I was taking photos of the horses, an adjacent building in the background of the location and the bright sun, the idea came to me to use the light to capture the outlines and elements of the horses and to keep the rest of the picture dark. The four horses gave me beautiful motifs and I love them.
