Gorgeous as fireworks

The city flower in Hong Kong is Bauhinia Blakeana, also known as Hong Kong Orchid. In July 1997, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region was established and used the Bauhinia flower as its regional flag. During the social movement in 2019, Hong Kong citizens promote a Black Bauhinia flag to imply Hong Kong is dying.



Hong Kong has been a wonderful land in many aspects and full of worldwide recognised. However, the world does not have flowers that bloom forever. Hong Kong was shiny and existed like fireworks, beautiful things that everyone cherishes are fleeting. Democracy, legal protection, economic freedom, personal safety, mental health. Hong Kong is on fire, the city flower Bauhinia is burning with this dying city.
