In the summer of 2021, I spent a month in Alaska. I was completely captivated by the nature of this region and made a lot of great shots. But even after 30 days full of trips, I could not see everything I wanted to. That's why I knew for sure that I would definitely come back here. One of my stops was Prince of Wales Island is one of the islands of the Alexander Archipelago in the Alaska Panhandle. It is the fourth-largest island in the United States and the 97th-largest island in the world. Among other things, the program of the trip included fishing from a boat. On that day, July 7 at 3:30 p.m., I managed to get this shot of Arcada Rock, a large limestone arch formation. A natural arch, natural bridge, or rock arch is a natural rock formation where an arch has formed with an opening underneath. Natural arches commonly form where inland cliffs, coastal cliffs, fins or stacks are subject to erosion from the sea, rivers or weathering.
