Color of the Wings

I have been wanting to take a photo of the Great Egret amid this particularly unique looking pine tree for a while. In the early spring of 2021, after many visits to the location during the sunset, the moment finally came when the Great Egret flew away from the branch. My patience was rewarded, and I was able to capture the image as the golden ray of the sunset shone on the bird’s white wings. During post-processing, I selected the sky to make it darker before painting the light, using the digital brush to create a more dreamy and artistic impression.
