Winter Wonderland

Winter in Minneapolis, definitely one of the most exciting experiences from my first year as a resident here. Apart from the traditional beautiful scenes of the snow and the natural beauty this city has to offer are those carefully curated abstract photos all within the metro area in Minneapolis. Starting with the cars junkyard and the sharp forklift right after a snow storm. Moving on to the early morning shadows of a simple decorative hanging line and the cool shadows of skaters on a frozen lake. Synchronized cross country skiers moving around and a top down of an ice rink being sketched on top of the frozen lake. Not to forget the topdown of the trains lot that just by staring at it gives the sense of which trains are on the go and which are static. The infinite morning shadows of the boat pier docks of a local marina and finally coming to the natural event of lakes freezing up while forming gas holes that allows the beneath vegetation to breath and forming a nice texture on top.
