Let his light keep on shining....

The lighthouse Kijkduin in Den Helder, popularly called 'The long Jaap'. He is in danger of having to disappear, but I hope that our Jaap can be the beacon of Den Helder for a long time to come. I wanted to create a threatening atmosphere in this photo. The cracks in the foreground symbolize the cracks in our lighthouse. The two people who walked on the dike reinforced for me the feeling of the lonely battle that our Jaap is waging.
