The Lower Omo River in south west Ethiopia is home to eight different tribes. They have lived there for centuries. Each of the tribes in this region have a unique culture and way of life. Almost all of the tribes differ in language, clothing, food, and traditions, all of which have developed over millennia.

The perception of beauty is subjective which has been shaped from different surroundings and civilizations. The Ethiopian tribes have a distinct view of beauty. Young ladies utilize their skin to express their creativity and beauty. They would get tattoos and paint their bodies with flowers and greenery. While the males will scar their bodies to symbolize the number of lives they have killed.



It may appear frightening to us, yet it is the most wonderful thing for them. As a result, we should not judge people by the scars. Stop limiting yourself with outdated notions. Allow yourself to be open to new experiences. When we gaze at beauty through the eyes of a beautiful mind, consequently, We are exposed to authentic beauty.
