Sacred Cave, Palos Verdes

At around the time of the Winter Solstice, the cave at Sacred Cove aligns so closely with the setting sun that the the interior is infused with light. And if you're in the cave at low tide and sunset and can avoid the incoming waves, you're good to go. For this image I chose a wide angle lens with a 3.2 second exposure in order to simplify the chaotic nature of the location and enhance the power of the cave.
