Florence during rush hour. But tho the city rushes towards evening, the Arno flows smooth and unhurried as it has for centuries. This composition tries to balance street and river, sky and reflection, ancient and modern. But the photographer's ultimate concern is light itself. And the celestial aspect of light here trumps all else.
