As an avid photographer with a passion for alpine photography, the images show the immediate moment in the Swiss Alps after the heavy snowfall slowly stopped and the fog receded from the flanks of individual mountains and from the deep snow-covered slopes. The piercing sun illuminated special spots in the mountains that caught my attention and magically attracted me. The photographs express the energy felt between the subject and me. The mystical and electrifying power of the light on individual spots in the photographs contrasts strongly with less substantial areas of light. The contrasting totality of the light in each photograph is pure energy that constantly captures me.
