A Hiker's Paradise

The Cordillera del Paine mountain range within the Torres del Paine National park is an incredible sight. The steep granite rocks create an other-worldly ominous landscape. I was hiking with a 600mm lens trying to photograph puma. They were in the foothills of these mountains. These mountains are infamous for their clouds and weather. Late in the afternoon, the winds changed and a clear view of the mountains became possible. I was struck by their beauty and took this photo.
