While exploring the Calanais Standing Stones I decided to wait for sunset and shoot a panoramic view to present the megaliths amongst their background. These stones were erected 5,000 years ago and predate the more famous Stonehenge. Believed to be used as an astronomical observatory, the stones still represent a mystery that may never been solved.
