A Day on the Dinkytown Job Site

On the last nice fall day in November of 2021, Alicia Liebel-Berg, the photographic voice of Studio Bismillah, climbed to the top of the construction crane to document the work going on below. The trades were working on laying the rebar tensile grid and ties for the post-tensioned concrete structure for a student housing apartment building that was in construction. The site was located in Dinkytown, a historic commercial district, directly adjacent to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus.
