New England foliage was at its peak in late October. But winter was not far away … which we were reminded of by the first snowfall of the year. I used a slow shutter speed to emphasize the streaking snow caused by the winter wind. The white ‘web’ effect at the bottom of the photo is the result of the snow settling on the vines in the woods.
