Much has been said of how life in our big cities dehumanises its inhabitants, limiting their perspective. That’s what it seems like when we walk down our streets, trapped in our daily life and routines. Our gaze is drawn only to elements which are in our horizontal line of sight. Anything that is above that eye-line is lost to us. Yet if we were to raise our gaze, we would discover intriguing and surprising vertical landscapes that we have never noticed before. And these landscapes have always been there.
