These wildflowers (paepalanthus) – grow in the highlands of the Park and are my favorite plants to photograph. I took the photo at night, with a flashlight to illuminate them and give the impression of fireworks. This photo was taken with a camera optimized for astrophotography, making it possible to see the colors of stars and nebulae that are invisible to the naked eye.
