n the past, traditional clothing has disappeared with the passage of time and has been replaced by modified garments. In order to preserve their cultural heritage, the Hakka community in Taiwan began to think about how to promote and enhance their traditions. As a result, the Hakka traditional clothing incorporates their focus on environmentalism by using natural plant-based dyes in the production process. The garments have also been updated with modern tailoring to make the Hakka Qipao more popular and acceptable to younger generations without appearing too old-fashioned.
