Proud to be nude

For a photographer, whether amateur or professional, choosing which picture or pictures to enter in a competition is often a difficult decision. It can be a matter of "coup de coeur" or the result of careful thinking, according to the jury's selection criteria or your own. I chose the latter option with "Proud to be nude", as this picture reflects the evolution of my style over the last few years. Firstly, a strict and considered choice of model, in this case Lesya, not only for her beauty but also for her personality and talent. Secondly, a certain minimalism that consists in using just one prop, in this case a medical bandage. Finally, the choice of monochrome, as it removes any commercial or mainstream element from nude photography and captures that timeless moment of Lesya's pride in front of the camera when she shares her beauty and her partially concealed nudity. I have slightly exaggerated the retouching of her body and face to enhance their beauty.
