This is a portrait of a bull elephant as he gives himself a dust bath on the lakebed in Amboseli. This is where an elephant uses its trunk to spray dirt over its body which helps keep the skin healthy & help protect from sun damage. I had never seen this before so was particularly excited to capture this dynamic behavior which helps to make some spectacular images.
