As a breeding herd of elephants moved through a dense Acacia grove, rays of sun penetrated through the foliage. The beams of light randomly illuminated distinguishable features of the elephants, whilst the balance fell into deep shadow, creating this dramatic appearance. This image reveals the primary elements of tusk and eyelashes, that are emblematic of ancient and modern day proboscideans.
