The superhero fox

In 2023, I followed the same route that an Arctic fox did in 2018. She left Svalbard, and after three weeks, she arrived in Greenland; about three months later, she was spotted on an island in the Canadian Arctic Archipelago (where I photographed the one in the picture). She had traveled 3500 km to get there. The force of nature never ceases to amaze me. I have traveled the same route after countless layovers, missed planes, money spent, energy depleted, stress at peak levels, colds, seasickness, and trouble sleeping due to the time zone. But the fox just saw her way and conserved her energy as much as possible in search of food and a better place.
