The Ort lake castle in Traunsee was first mentioned in a document in Year 909. Rebuilt in its current form after a fire in 1626. The castle is one of the oldest buildings in the Austrian Salzkammergut. The Salzkammergut is a beautiful travel destination with its idyllic mountain lakes, mountain peaks and many historic buildings.
