Photographing the Swiss Alps is something special, especially at night. This image was taken when I spent two nights at Gornergrat glacier above Zermatt on 3'100m altitude. It was the last full moon of the year 2021. The idea was not photographing the moon, but using the soft light of the full moon providing very soft shadows on the snowy mountains and summits.
