I am trying to capture the value of beauty and ugliness and what lies beyond.

I used to be obsessed with the shape of the face because of my own complex,

When I first saw the Nike by Samothrace at the Louvre, I thought it was beautiful from the bottom of my heart.

I felt its power, delicacy, and sanctity. But there was no head for me to fixate on.

This led me to create photographic works that express the beauty and divinity of the female body by capturing it in a sculptural way. In this series "goddess," there are many works that use Greek mythological goddesses and Japanese Shinto priestesses as motifs, but my intention is to capture unconsciousness in the subjects' expressions and poses by having them tell a story and act it out first.

In this age of unnatural photographs, I would like to create works that make us think about universal beauty through the beauty of physical form and expressions that draw us in.
