The Happy Goodbyes

Children from the inner-city areas of San Jose, Costa Rica, confront daily risks of crime and danger. Lack of resources amplifies their vulnerability, leaving them exposed to exploitation and peril. Volunteers from a local NGO offer these kids an evening of fun, food, community, love and belonging. The support that these dedicated volunteers offer shields these vulnerable youth from the harsh realities of their environment, fostering resilience and a brighter tomorrow.
