With their pride's gathering of rambunctious lion cubs below, several lionesses climbed higher up the Serengeti kopje to seek comfortable sleeping ground. This lioness ascended highest of all, gaining the best of the evening's breezes and a vantage point from which she could survey the landscape for kilometres.
