Packhorse Hut

An almost 360 degree two row panorama taken from the top of the port Hills above Christchurch in New Zealand. It was a bitter cold night - you can see the grasses battered by the cold wind through the long exposure - yet at the same time, there was such wonder at being out among the stars, feeling miles away from it all but so relatively close to a city. I processed this panorama to reflect the icy coldness yet the beauty and awe of being there.
