Follow the Leader!

A string of gulls follow a lone grizzly bear as she/he? searches for clams on the tidal flats. They know this apex predator will leave scraps behind and are commonly seen following bears. The common scene, however, was transformed into magic by the specular highlights on the thin film of water covering the sand! I specifically created a composition where the foreground was dominant and the wildlife was smaller in the frame. I got the image, kneeling in the sand, using a skimmer plate with ballhead.
