Homecoming

Carmel, Indiana is a tradition-rich town. Many graduates stay in the state and return home to the idyllic city of Carmel to raise their families, perpetuating the cornerstone of same ancient customs of suburbia. These are all shots of the community during Homecoming celebrations, an enormous ordeal within the town, win or lose. These photos provide insight into the complexities of the day and the importance placed on maintaining a culture for all to enjoy. Homecoming unites the entire city regardless of differences to celebrate what they feel makes Carmel special; their tight community bonds, tethered together by these experiences.
