KABUKI

This is a traditional Japanese performing art. It is a performing art with a strong expression and a powerful behavior, but it also values tranquility. I photographed a Japanese macaque looking at me with an expression reminiscent of kabuki. The soft sunlight shining in from the side clearly depicts the unevenness of the expression, naturally increasing the contrast and structure, and contributing to increased detail. His expression was a wonderful expression of kabuki without me having to do anything. Please enjoy this Japanese macaque that embodies this Japanese tradition.
