The aim here is to capture something of both the special event that marriage is, and that of the first night of a couple's new life.
We were fortunate to be in a luxurious glamping tent replete with four poster bed. I set the parallax correcting panoramic gear on my tripod between the entrance and the bed.
My wife was gracious in helping to arrange candles and rose petals throughout the room.
The main - central - image is a crop of all the images, and forms a 360 degree panorama. I deliberately shot vertical and to the base, From this I was able to process this panorama into a 'little planet'/'little world'. I deliberately balanced the 'little world' so the framework of the four poster bed formed a four leaf clover shape - luck and blessing.
The image to the left shows the location: Lake Hawea in Central Otage, New Zealand, the fur coat and long gentleman's coat indicate the cold day it was outside.
I left the image of the bed - included to help gain perspective of the main image - in its warped state to complement the curves of the main image.
I chose to add two circular crops of three of candles and petals, for one to show what is in the main image in better detail, and also to show what marriage can mean in numerical terms of faith, hope and love.
