A Promise Written in the Stars

This is a self-portrait created to commemorate my proposal on July 7th, the day of the Star Festival in Japan. Although the actual photo was taken on July 19th, the memory is tied to that earlier night when I gave her a ring inspired by the Milky Way. To honor both the design and the meaning, we placed ourselves beneath the galaxy it reflects.

This self-portrait was created from multiple exposures taken on the same night and at the same location. A blended sky from another frame of the same session was used to reflect the scene as it appeared in reality, preserving both clarity and atmosphere.
