Emma Parker

Photography is not just a passion for me, its about the power to tell a story of the natural world, the thing that brings me the greatest joy, and to capture that moment where a bird or an animal is completely relaxed around me and carries on about their day. A lot of my photos have been taken in my own backyard, the wonderful landscape that is the Central Coast. In fact some of my favourites are shot here as its a place where I feel most relaxed and where I benefit from having watched birds and animals in their natural habitat daily. I feel they are part of me. I am still learning the power of photography and how it can be used to empower both a love of nature but also a tool to empower people to protect it. A photo can capture the hearts and minds of the viewer. As part of this my aim is to continue to strive for new ways showcase the nature around me through my photos to inspire others to want to protect
