Emilio G Hernandez is a New York-based photographer with Mediterranean roots, working across the U.S. and Europe. Known for blending a cinematic narrative with a joyful, intimate and warmth style, his work lets subjects evolve into rich characters. With a foundation in cinematography, his love for moving images infuses his photography with storytelling, sophistication, and effortless sensuality He began his journey assisting some of the industry’s top talents such as Steven Meisel and Mikael Jansson. When he is not shooting for clients, Emilio focus on personal projects that explore the depth of folklore and its people. His upcoming exhibit and book both draw from this rich cultural heritage, capturing stories and traditions through his lens. His personal approach and distinct visual language have led him to contribute to publications such as W, V, Wonderland, GQ Spain, and Harper’s Bazaar. He has also collaborated with celebrities like Penélope Cruz, Pedro Almodóvar, and Caleb McLaughlin, and worked with commercial brands including Bare Necessities, Journelle, BlackWeek, Pronovias, Heely’s and many more
